Condell message / mask mandates
Good evening!!
Just a reminder for anyone transporting to Condell, we are still in the middle of a pretty treacherous respiratory season!! The hospital is mandating surgical masks are worn upon entering the Emergency Department and in patient care areas. Once you get past the glass doors of the ambulance bay, we ask you to please mask up to protect yourself and others. Masks are not required in the nurses stations or the EMS room, but everywhere else in the ED, they should be worn. I have put up reminder signs, and put masks on the counter near the cleaning supplies, by the glass doors. I am working on getting a stand with a mask holder and signage as a reminder as well.
