IMPORTANT PEDI STAT in Protocol

Good afternoon!

Within the next day or two, a new calculator will be added to the Region 10 Protocol app and website. The PediSTAT calculator allows a simple way to calculate a medication dose for a pediatric or adult. Here is the link to information and a demo on how to use.

https://www.acidremap.com/help/docs/users/pedistat/

This will eventually replace the colored pediatric medication dosage charts in the protocol. This can be used for pediatrics and adults. THIS IS NOT TO BE USED FOR ADULT IDEAL BODY WEIGHT DOSING FOR KETAMINE. You must continue to utilize the documented dosing charts for adult ideal body weight Ketamine doses.

Once the PediSTAT is updated on the app familiarize yourselves with it!

New M18 Scene Lights

FFIB recently approved and purchased 4 new additional scene lights. These are in addition to the yellow stream lights, not replacing them. However, these will replace any other corded scene lights we have, particularly of the halogen/incandescent style. There is one on each front line engine/truck, in the same compartment as the stream light.

These run off m18 batteries and will be accompanied with a 6 ah battery. They also have the option to be shore lined with an extension cord if the battery were to die.

They're self explanatory use. I'll ask the check it people to update the inventory hopeful to mark their addition.

The lights should all be on the rigs as of today, 3/12, but the batteries have not been delivered. 4 new batteries should be delivered tomorrow, 3/13. Please distribute and plug these into the lights once they arrive.

Enjoy your bright scenes!
