🚨Hospital Security & EMS Transport Update – Please Read🚨
Effective today at 9:00 AM, Condell has implemented a new Metal Detection screening process at the front Emergency Room entrance (inside the ED vestibule).
While this does not directly affect EMS personnel, any EMS crew member, along with patients, family members, or hospital staff who enter through the front ambulatory entrance, will be required to pass through the metal detector.
🔁 Change to EMS Transport Process:There is also a slight change in process for EMS transports. Please review the attached memo and ambulance bay workflow for details. These updates aim to help streamline handoffs and close any gaps in patient receiving procedures.
🔐 Upcoming Ambulance Bay Security Project:Condell will begin a project this week to secure the ambulance bay with an intercom access system, expected to be completed by August. More information will be shared once available.
