Firefighter Safety
At Station 51 in the rear there is a wood staircase up to a landing which leads to a rear door. The deck is spongy and I don't think it would support more than 2 firefighters in full gear. Especially be careful if you are trying to breach the door as prying it will put more pressure on the landing itself. This seems like it would be a building dept issue and I will take it up with the inspector. I am also meeting with the State Fire Marshall tomorrow to get his opinion on what I can and cannot do with this. Please be careful
