CE and Clarification on Condell’s Continuing Education Policy

Good evening AFD,

I wanted to take a moment to clarify Condell’s Continuing Education (CE) requirements to ensure everyone is aligned. Below are the key points from their policy:

Paramedics are required to complete 25 hours of CE per year, totaling 100 hours per renewal period.

• A minimum of 5 live, in-station CE sessions is mandatory each year.

• The remaining 10 hours can be obtained through approved activities such as makeups, precepting, ACLS, PALS, or other approved activities.

EMTs are required to complete 60 hours of CE every 4 years.

Additionally, if you recently requested a CE assignment from me and have already completed it, there is no need to redo it. All necessary makeup CEs have also been submitted to TargetSolutions to ensure compliance.

If you have any questions about the requirements or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you all and stay warm,

Frankie
