Interest in MIH
Good evening,
Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) is planning to increase its numbers, and we are looking to see who from our department may be interested in participating in the upcoming course.
For those not as familiar, MIH focuses on bridging gaps in patient care by providing follow-up visits, education, and resources outside of the traditional 911 response. It’s a growing area in EMS that allows us to serve our community in a more proactive and preventative way.
The next MIH course is tentatively scheduled for November 14th, 17th, 18th, 19th, and 21st, with the possibility of being moved into December depending on regional participation.
Eligibility requirements:
At least 2 years of experience as a licensed paramedic
Good standing within our EMS system
If you meet these requirements and are interested in being considered, please email me by September 25th. I’ll also be putting up a sign-up sheet for those who prefer to add their name that way.
