Last Friday was our appreciation dinner and I'm very sorry I was not there, it would have been a memorable one for sure.

I'm thankful I received a video of the nomination and speech, or I don't think I would have believed it. To give you all a small speech, I have been getting better at them over the years...

I am very thankful of the nomination, award and even being thought of for this. BUT I can't do any of what I do if it wasn't for the members of the AFD. I know there is a drive that each of you have to be better each day, and you use that as you do, rig checks, coffee table discussions all the way up to the big drills. You all encourage your partners, teams and entire stations and that is amazing. Each of you have it, I have seen it, and it is special.

That is the driving forces behind me, and I am grateful of our members and organization that gives me a chance to be a part of all of your "light bulb moments" and to do what you do every day. Thank you!
