Engine 2123 is OOS
Good afternoon,
For the past few shifts it was passed on that 2123 was not shifting properly and wouldn't go over 30mph. Crews believed it was due to the cold with it sitting outside while the bay floors at station 2 were being done. Once 2123 was placed back into the station on Thursday, station 2's crew had taken 2123 out a few times and noted it would be intermittent with shifting and going above 30mph. Blake Radtke sent Chief DuSahne an email notifying the issue. Jason Kedrock took 2123 for a test drive yesterday on 11/15/2024 and noted it could be the fuel pump. DuShane contacted me and asked to take 2123 OOS and place it at station 1. 2125 is now frontline at station 2 and the crews at station 1 will be running out of 2131 for the time being. Equipment was swapped over from 2125 to 2131. Additionally, equipment from 2123 was swapped over to 2125. Please familiarize yourself with 2131 if you are at station 1 and 2125 if you are at station 2. We are hoping we switched over everything appropriately and I apologize if we missed anything. If there is anything missing that needs to be on these apparatus please let your Acting Officer, Lieutenant or Battalion know so we can get everything fixed. If anyone has any questions, as always, don't hesitate to contact me at anytime. Thank you and have a great weekend!!
