It is with sweet and happy memories the First Fire Protection District of Antioch Township announces the retirement of Trustee Carolyn Van Patten. After 19 and a half years, serving her final years as the Treasurer/Secretary, is stepping away public service. Trustee VanPatten has led many positive changes in the Fire District during her tenure that have had a direct impact on the quality of emergency service to the Antioch Community. She has been an outstanding fiduciary of Fire District finances and a true example on how to blend her love for her community and the dedicated members of the fire district.
Trustee VanPatten was presented with an appreciation plaque and flowers at the May 10,2023 Fire District Board Meeting.
