Addressing Concerns with Weather Alerts for
Hyper Reach Emergency Alerting

First Fire Protection District of Antioch,
Village of Antioch and Antioch Township

We have heard concerns for the number of weather notifications and the time of day the weather alerts are pushed out. Users should understand that whenever the National Weather Service issues or changes a weather alert, that alert is pushed out through the Hyper-Reach System. We do not have the ability, nor do we want the responsibility of modifying or restricting any alert.
Users picked the type of alerts and how they wished to receive the alerts when they signed up for the system. For users to change this information it can be done in two ways. First, if you created a user account and password, login to your account and update the alerts desired and how you wish to receive them. If you forgot your username and password or didn’t create one, follow the registration information and reregister with the desired alerts and how you wish to receive them. The system will then update your information and desired alerts. (See attachment)
