The First Fire Protection District of Antioch/Antioch Fire Department is very excited and proud to announce the receipt of a Local Grant from the Antioch Walmart.

Dear Antioch Fire Department,
Congratulations!
The Walmart Community Grants Team and Facility # 5199 are pleased to inform you that your Community Grant application for Request ID 44495841 has been selected to receive a grant. We are thrilled to support your work in our communities and share your desire to provide local impact.

By receiving this grant, you are part of a long history of Walmart’s commitment to giving back to the communities where we operate. In fact, Mrs. Helen Walton used to say, "It's not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived."

This grant from Walmart, combined with monies receive from the District’s Foreign Fire Insurance Tax Board, allowed for the purchase of 4- King Vision Video Laryngoscopes. This will allow for each of our 4 ambulances to have this $1100 piece of technology. King Vision is designed to enable quick and easy intubation with its display providing a consistent clear real-time view of your patient’s airway. These types of partnerships allow for the First Fire Protection District to continue to give the highest quality of care to the residents and visitors of the Antioch Community. Fire Chief Jon Cokefair stated, “On behalf of the First Fire Protection District of Antioch, I would like to thank Antioch Firefighter/Paramedic Pat DeVore and Antioch Walmart manager Tina Frank for creating this valuable partnership.”
