This 2002 American LaFrance Pumper built by Alexis saw its share of action in Antioch. This tried pony has found a new home in Glencoe Kentucky. Glencoe is a small volunteer department in northern Kentucky that runs about 400 calls per year. The 2002 pumper with over 97,000 miles mechanically struggled to keep pace with 3100 call per year in Antioch but will find the slower pacer will allow for a few more years of service. Chief Webster from Glencoe FD stated this will be a welcome addition to their department, replacing a 1971 Mack pumper. Best wishes to Glencoe Fire Department.
